What if? I know you have asked yourself that question.
It popped into my head this morning as a topic I must contemplate - not sure why, other than I have been stuck in my humanness lately while my spiritual voice has been reaching out.
"Focus" I heard on my drive in.
Stop the "what if's."
I admit, I have contemplated "what if" before. Probably more times than I would like to admit over the past 10 years.
But, what I have come to realize, is that my answer to this question has always been consistent - I don't regret my decisions.
My Spiritual voice whispered, "what if" is a
question from the ego, your human incarnation - "each decision you make" she said, "is perfect."
If you embrace the belief, that we are exactly where we need to be at each moment in time, you will understand that all the decisions you have made are exactly right.
Yes, decisions have benefits and consequences, in a human sense.
But, one is not better than the other, it simply is what it is.
If we focus only on a consequence or focus only on a benefit versus the reality of where our decision has taken you, you'll get stuck.
Its then, in that place of inertia, that the hand of your soul will gently offer a nudge, like mine did -
When the decisions seem tough, and, the consequences big, remember it's not the outcome of your decision that determines who you are.
Who we are is on the inside, the wisdom found in the depths of your darkness.
This is where you will find pure love, this is where you will find you.
The you that will last many lifetimes.
My Spirit voice whispered in my ear this morning, "It's time to listen to that gut feeling, it's time to get back on your spiritual path."
Go back down, Kathleen, find your darkness, find your truth.
That's what my Soul spoke to me today.
That is what I will do.
