Day 5 of 40 Day Cleanse

Growing up, I hated broccoli and seafood. Tuna fish made me want to puke. My mom would make a casserole with "chicken", but I could smell the tuna a mile away and refused to eat it.

I still don't eat Tuna from a can (yellow fin tuna in sushi - yes), broccoli, on the other hand, is a favorite in my household.

On my 40 day quest for improved internal health and well being, I have made the commitment to create more avenues for "veggie involvement."

Yesterday, one of my clients and I decided that Trader Joe's was an awesome way to pursue new veggie "opportunities". Trader Joe's does much of the work for you with their organic salad combo's and organic rice and quinoa frozen dinner packages.

My client, Karin, gave me the ingredients to a soup that I liked the sound of! I left work, gathered my ingredients, and cooked up this quickie for my sick guy and I for dinner!

Trader Joe's prechopped onions, celery and carrots container (fruit and veggie aisle) sauteed with a little chopped garlic (out of my fridge) Pour in: One full container of Organic Chicken Broth. 14 oz can of Organic diced tomatoes (I chose fire roasted) 1/2 package of Trader Joe combo salad kale, brussel sprouts, broccoli and cabbage. Himalayan Salt and pepper to taste Simmer for about an hour I added diced chicken from a chicken breast the night before and WA LA!!! Super healthy, super yummy
