Do I need a Probiotic?
I'm often asked this question "Do i need a probiotic."
The answer is "yes."
Hold on there, Tigger. Don't run out and buy one, yet.
What is a probiotic? Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for you, especially your digestive system. We usually think of these as germs that cause diseases. But your body is full of bacteria, both good and bad. Probiotic is often called "good" or "helpful" bacteria because they help keep your gut healthy.
What Do They Do?
Among other things, Probiotics can help food get through your gut by affecting nerves that control gut movement. Researchers are still trying to figure out which are best for certain health problems. Some common conditions they treat are:
Irritable bowel syndrome
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
Infectious diarrhea (caused by viruses, bacteria, or parasites)
Diarrhea caused by antibiotics
There is also some research that shows they're useful for problems in other parts of your body. For example, some people say they have helped with:
Skin conditions, like eczema
Urinary and vaginal health
Preventing allergies and colds
Oral health
Good information, Right? However, if your gut isn't healthy, from an over grown of the "bad bacteria", taking a Probiotic, may make your symptoms worse.
It's like closing the door to your wardrobe closet instead of cleansing and organizing the inside.
You need to clean your gut by cleansing and removing all the bad stuff, then continuing with a probitotic and eating foods that support your new healthy gut.
My recommendation is, if you are having bloating, constipation, and flatulence is to do the followieng
10 Day cleanse first,
Add a PURIUM Probiotic
Continue with PURIUM Healthy Gut support bundle (see below)
I also do "Aloe Digest" in my Power Green Shake (see below)
Remember, Your Gut is the largest immune organ in your body. If may effect digestion, allergies, mood disorders, and disease.
Make it your goal this month to focus on cleaning your gut out, before cleaning your closet!!
Remember, if we are not healthy, it filters in to every aspect of our lives
